Z4C hoping to be a future owner

Hi all,

Lurking for a few weeks now researching & the forum has been a great source of information. Seems to be a great bunch of people on here, and reminds me of the S2000 forum where I was on with the same username; not sure how many have made the S2000 to Z4C transition but would love to hear from you.

Moving companies in the near future so I can leave company cars behind again & drive something more fun again (ditched the E60 for the MCS as a company car, which was the most fun the list allowed!)

Love the look of the Z4C & really hoping to get behind the wheel in the very near future!

A bit of a newbie question that I can't seem to locate the answer to....I have a PM that I wanted to send to a user with a car for sale; however it still appears to be sitting in my outbox; is there a minimum post requirement before this will be sent?

Look forward to getting to know you all over the coming months & years; if there is anyone local to Reading area when I come to make the purchase; any opinions would be great

Matt

Welcome fella. Another Reading local? We're going to have to have a sub-forum soon at this rate

There are a few who jumped from the S2000 here so might pay to have a search around. If you want any second opinion or just fancy a nosey around some cars I'm always about locally so drop me a PM!

Viewing & test drive on Saturday so looking forward to it.

4 years ago I chose an S2000 over a Z4 as couldn't afford the facelift with M seats etc; S2000 was great fun but company car forced it's sale. Loved the engine, but it was hard work when not in the mood.

E60 co-car followed but dull; 520d due to taxation, so swapped for a very unloved R56 Cooper S from the car pool (much to the amusement of my peers), alloy & paint all terrible, but added fun back to driving again.

Can't wait to get a Z4C, but will miss not having to worry about parking in car parks - as a retentive car nut, having a pre-unloved mini has had certain advantages; although I do cringe when people assume all dings & dents were created by me.
