Compared to driving a 4Coupe, the BMW Z4M is quite a ponderous and thuggish car by comparison. Over time expect to see the wonderful 4Coupe values rise considerably being driven by demand, whilst the gap narrows as more of cognoscenti
recognise the shortcomings of the 4M. That big heavy iron lump in the front does nothing to balance the car out, at times the understeer can be quite difficult to read. These cars can be hard work driving, with the torque coming in well up the rev range compared to the 4Coupe where it all starts happening at 1800rpm plus. The cockpit of the 4Coupe is a great place to be, and there is a considerable difference between the 4Coupe motorsports seats( give a great tight fit, almost cossetting you) whereas those in the 4M seem wider at the hips and shoulders. My tip, buy any low well less than say 60k miles 4Coupe in good original condition, 6 M/T and full motorsport spec, pay up to GBP12k today and watch it head to the moon. The 4MCoupe prices as already mentioned have plateaued, expect them to fall away at a faster rate now.
Edited for those older, slower Northern Hemisphere readers. Why would we be banging about on about an Alfa Romeo ffs
