Z4C Angel eye

Hi,

Just a quick question, the halo/angel eye on the passenger side of my Z4C has blown. Is this a part I can replace myself or do I need to take it to the dealer? The car has Xenons.

Yes mate you can replace yourself, about £30 from BMW. The bulb comes fitted into a circular plastic assembly.
Turn wheel inwards on the side that needs changing, open upper flap, twist bulb assembly anti clockwise and pull out, and the reverse for fitting.

The bulb is a ba9s 10w item.
You can modify the housing to allow you to remove bulb without the brackets but involves using a dremmel.

I haven't done it myself but would like to replace with LEDs
