Hello all

Signed up some time ago but only just beginning to explore the world of the Z4.

Having sold both my 130i LE and Mk2 MX-5 in the last week, I thought it's time to combine the best of both and find myself a straight six, manual roadster! Just in time for the summer:)

I'm not blessed with any particular DIY skills, so tend to go for properly sorted examples, either enthusiast owned or trade specialist.

Look forward to browsing the forum to help me on the journey.

I have to admit I’ve been looking at the 130LE for a while… unique looking cars

Good work managing to shake off the Mazda hex and joining the cool kids in the z4 world
 
Thanks for the warm welcome - going to enjoy my search methinks and I now know never to mention a certain car on here again.... to be honest having had 5 MX-5s, 1 E81, 1 E46 and a current G31, just need 2 Zs to balance the books :)
 
Hi welcome to the forum, once you sit in your new Z4 and start up the 6 cylinder engine all the gutting feelings will be gone. :thumbsup: Good searching:thumbsup:
 
Hi and welcome to the forum Paul. Hopefully you can find a 3.0Si Z4 then you'll have the same engine as your 130i in a Roadster. :thumbsup:

Both your cars looked great and I have a soft spot for the 130i as I probably should have bought one instead of my 330i. I love the LE colour combo but I would want a 5 door.

Anyway good luck finding the right Z4.

Thank you, to be fair I miss them both but that LE was something special, with the BMWP mods and interior trim enhancements. Could easily get another MX but the babyBM was one of a kind.

Here's hoping I can find an equal in the Z4 🤞
 
Well, that was quick - started my search last Sunday and on Friday drove home in @z4ry's lovely 3.0si :)

Will start a to-do list of jobs in due course, but for now am just enjoying driving it!

Usually a Momentum 99 fan but treated to V-Power for the journey home:

I'm sure V-Power cost loads more! My Z4s have all been fine on Momentum.
