Z4/Z4M NS Lower Arch-liner Corner

Hi everyone, I'm in need of the lower front section/corner of the NS/passenger arch-liner.

This is what the part looks like, number 6 highlighted in red:

Part number:51717168995

The parts catalogue shows a completely different part number for the Z4M models - are these massively different as they both look exactly the same in the pictures?

If anyone has either one, I'd be interested.

Where did you get it for a £100? I’m assuming it’s the Z4M one? I need one and I’ve been quoted £141 with discount.
 
@Babw sorry for the mega late reply, not been on the forum for ages. I got it from Cotswold with M3 Cutters discount.

We are needing the rubber flaps (think they are called pressure lips) that are attached to these left and right corners. You know, the flaps that hang down and get kerbed :(
Anybody know, are they clipped on or an integral part of these assemblies? It looks like the e89 pressure lips 51628038997 may be similar?
Any help or advice out there?

Z4M has different part number - item is different and it fits to Z4M bumper and lower engine cover. You need it to successfuly retrofit z4m bumper to non z4m.

How difficult are these corner bits to replace? Do we need to drop the front bumper AGAIN :x

You could possibly do it without removing the bumper I'm sure. It is just held in by 8mm screws. If you can't be arsed with it, you can just send me the corner pieces :P

You could possibly do it without removing the bumper I'm sure. It is just held in by 8mm screws. If you can't be arsed with it, you can just send me the corner pieces :P

If you look at the items on BMW Fans or enter the part number (Left) 51 717 168 995 (Right ....996) on ebay, you can see the rubber lip quite clearly on the many items offered for sale.. But I'm unable to find it as a stand alone item, only as a part of these lower corner parts in front of the arch liners. On the e89 its called an air pressure lip, or seal, and you can buy the singularly, (P/N 51628038997(L) / 998 (R) and like the e86 there is one in front of each of the wheels front and rear. Apparently its an aerodynamic aid amongst other things it also diverts water away from the wheel arches at speed.
If I have to, I'll buy a pair of corners and replace both sides, but its a bit spendy, and naturally I'm seeking a bit of advice from those more in the know :D
