Z4 worst seat in sports car class

Have too say my work has suffered since i joined this forum

ive never had any issues with mine, certainly got issues with the seats in the wifes cooperS though ! well uncomfy.

I find them the worst lateral support in a car of this type..Hacking round bends i can't stay seat properly..I mean i its actually really annoying..

there comformtable yes..But could do with some decent bolsters..Of course Ppl have the M sport seat option ..but it should be standard.

What a bunch of utter tosh......Worst seats my arse....... Has nt anyone ever sat in an Elise or VX220

I'm slightly chubby and have the standard seats - find them extremely comfortable! Much more so than my 07 Corsa - used to end up getting pins and needles in my left leg/foot from the seat/centre console layout...

I set up my seats the way it was explained in a post on here and drove a 3000km round trip to Seattle and back. Minor soreness in my butt from sitting still too long but otherwise the seats are great.

Should note I have the "Sport Option" so all kinds of adjustments, bolsters etc (like an old M seat).

Just did 4,500 mile trip and had no seat issues what so ever. First car I've been able to do that many miles without back problems.

Interesting result compared to the interesting posts in this thread. I find them really quite comfortable, as most people on here do it seems. Who the hell was answering that survey.

I think it depends on the individual. The sport seats are not too suitable if your fairly large - as the thigh and side bolsters will become very intrusive. I have a big cypriot friend who finds my seats too narrow and uncomfortable, while i have no problem with them.

So i'd imagine in this survey if you had a wide selection of individuals then some will find it uncomfy - compared to say something like a focus - which has no side support and so is more suitable to the wider audience!

I am built like the side of £5 note so find the bolsters very usefull to stop me sliding into the passenger seat, as for comfort well as i have never got out my car and thought about the comfiness of the seats i would say it is not an issue, Just the usual stiffness on long trips that you get with any car.

The sport seats in my zed are very supportive and comfortable. I had no problem at all after 6-hour journey.

The only thing I get is a slight discomfort on my right shoulder area where it meets the neck. I think it is because I am 6'3" and tend to decline my head for a better view out of the screen. Never happens in any other car. Bit I will try the tip (when I get car back from repairs)

I get that too!
At 6'6 it must be a taller person's thing... though I did used to get it in my 3 series. Bloody annoying though!
