Z4 with BMW 1 Series ILLUMINATED gear knob

I have had my eye on a ZHP Gear Knob for a long time, there so much better than the plastic factory item Z4's come with, but then found this from Germany. Its the Same as in my sisters BMW 120 (but illuminated), correct me if im wrong though in the M1 you get a similar to ZHP illuminated jobbie?? So im not sure if mine is a orriginal BMW part, but im VERY Impressed with it!!

My gut feeling would say its probably not genuine, how much was it? - however it still looks nice. I'd prefer it to be leather rather than with the dimples.

Mine has the illuminated as standard but its quite long so ill probably change it for a genuine stubby at some point - I'm not that bothered about it lighting up. I have one that's practically new that I got for my old car (removed when I sold it), but its got the 5 gear badge on the top.

Got it on German ebay, it was a right nightmare as the guy selling it could speak English but just chose not to communicate and took 4 weeks to dispatch it.

Already thought that! Looking in to Matching Gaiters, possibly black perf with Red Stitching? hmmm watch this space......

I don't think if gear knobs are weighted or not it makes much difference once the length is shortened? It must have weighed 100g, feel's chunky and solid
