Removing the cowell is an easy job. Im not sure if not removing it might make things more complicated than otherwise

I didn't remove the cowll. I fixed the wiper on the driver's side and just undid enough screws to lift the cowl enough to lift it and clip the clip in.

All done, reversed,new clips. Better than New.

i thought i would post on this as bmw dont sell the arm anymore, they sell the whole assembly for about 340 quid.

ive just fixed my wipers with this for £5. works a treat.
