Use IMGUR Simon.

Upload the pics to that site, change the size to large thumbnail then click the Direct Link tab as indicated in this screenshot.

Click 'Img' tab along the top bar on the forum reply/post and then simply 'paste' (or press 'ctrl then v' on your keyboard) the IMGUR link into the 'Img' link that pops up.

Not sure about a phone but from a PC it's an easy task.

That link though, does show what I would think, is your BMW.

Ok that's progress, I will do it from home in the morning, and yes that is my stop gap BMW lol, thanks for your help

2.5 or 3.0 are they worlds apart? Scrap that I found a previous thread :D

Just over a second quicker on the 0-60, an extra 10mph top speed, an extra 70bhp.

In all honesty having been to meets with some lovely 2.5s, the performance isn't massively noticeable, but more pull in the mid-ranges perhaps.

The main reason to get the 3.0... the feeling you'll always have if you get a 2.5... "I wish I'd got the 3.0". Nowt better than having the 3.0 badge on the side* and knowing you're in the top exclusive roadster club :D

*Alright Ms, stay out of it 8)

I've had two 2.5 SE's and found them to be really lively, I'm not sure if the Rev band is different with it working a little harder at the same speed, but I've never found the 2.5's shy in taking off between the 40 and 70mph range. Perfect band for overtaking !

After driving a 2.5 for 18 months, then getting a 3.0, I was disappointed. I expected far more Oomph.
Both will get you into trouble with Plod and give you points on your license, so if you find a nice 2.5 at the right price, I wouldn't suggest holding out for a 3.0

My only crisitism may be the lack of 6th gear on the pre-facelift 2.5. It doesn't come into play when you are 'driving' it but it is annoying when you are cruising 'en-route' to a meet or location, as I found myself fishing for it a lot. However the 2006 onwards 2.5 has the 6th gear and still flies in the mid range speeds, whilst cruising comfortably in 6th around 70mph om motorways.

Went and had the oil and filter changed today as it's something i always do when i get a new car regardless of when the previous owner says it was done, turns out i was right to do so, the oil filter had not been changed in so long that it had started to implode, and the record shows it being done in November 2015 at a huge cost the Ste, not sure what this means other than be careful who you let work on your car....Ste has spent a fortune on this car so if he has been let down it stinks.

I changed my filters n plugs last week Si and I must say, I was quite surprised by how clean my air filter was and the oil filter looked in very good nick so I guess at least mine were changed on it's last service unlike yours by the looks of it.

There have been quite a few surprises this week mate, Getting there though she will soon be back in shape :)

Si.

If you're using Imgur, click on the 'large thumbnail' mode in Imgur, click the the 'direct link' tab (highlighted in yellow, see pic attached). Then when you want to post an image on your thread/post. Click the 'img' tab on the toolbar and insert the Imgur link between the 'img' links.

It'll pop the image up for you rather than the link.
