Z4 vs deer

I had one almost trash a saab turbo
the tough little critter got up a couple of seconds later and twanged over a six foot fence. six grand damage.

Sorry to here this must be dear season. Just spent two weekends fixing my sons KA after he met a dear at a similar speed on the A38. Headlight wing and bonnet dent sounds very similar. As long as your ok the car will fix.

Sorry to hear this happened but I'm glad to hear that you came out OK. The damage to your car doesn't look too bad.

I was going to say it could have been much worse, but then I saw this:

Driving a Mercedes? Talk about a nightmare. :)

Glad you're ok. The car can be fixed.

My other half hit a young, small deer last year. Made an absolute mess of the car (pug 205) but thankfully she was ok.

Think yourself lucky. People do get killed with animal strikes. Car takes legs out, animal up bonnet and into cabin. Especially bad with larger deer, horses, cattle, etc.

Car will be cosmetic and repairable.

Oh dear...

:tumbleweed:

Seriously, Really sorry to hear this mate.. Glad you are ok. The car can be fixed!

Hope you get it sorted

bad news  how did the deer look after you hit it? was it a kill or a few broken legs

the deer is still lying at the side of the road, i snapped it in half near enough, its back legs and head are touching.. so pretty sure it was instant death

@ Keithj, its in at Eastern Western Accident Repair

I reckon the Queen will want to know, she's probably having a few BBQ's over the coming week, so some roadkill will help reduce costs....

That's what I figured... Else perhaps it could be recovered for his own Jubilee BBQ, with HRH's permission ?

If its been hit in Fife then its probably been snapped up by one of the locals for supper!

Banjo country that is! :poke:
