How much did it cost to service the Boxster? I thought the "big" service for that and the Cayman was 600-ish?

I looked at the Boxter S when when I bought my Zed. For the same money I was looking at '04 cars with higher milege. I think the Boxter is a nice car, easy to drive fast with a better ride but I don't like the styling. I would get a 997, if I had the cash, but wouldn't swap my Zed for a Boxter of any sort now.

yes porsche make sports cars, but the boxster is known as the poor mans porsche (as nice as it is). I'd rather hold out for a 'real' porsche. Mate at work has one and he enjoys it ...but even he says that my zed is better looking and that my interior is far nicer.

I reckon the boxter looks like a 'pushmepullyou' as you can't tell which end is which!
