I'm not having a great time of it right now. Following on from my episode with the fuel gauge the other day, I decided it would be fun to drive into the back of a Vauxhall Meriva on the way to work today.
A small scratch on her bumper, I have split the number plate housing, cracked the plastic around one of the kidney grills and snapped one of the brackets on the other one so that that grill will not stay in place.
Never did I think a Meriva would come off better in a fight with a Z, but there you go.
Does anyone know how long can I drive the car with one of the grills missing, will it cause any damage to the radiator behind if it gets a soaking with our lovely Welsh rain? Is it something I need to be wary of?
I will be looking up the cost of replacement grills and a bumper fix (for the second time) soon.........
