Z4 tool kit

Right guys, ive had many bmws in the past and there is normally a tool kit in the boot lid, I don't seem to be able to find one in the z4, all there is on my lid is 2 plastic strips in the boot lid! What are these for? Any one have a z4 tool kit?

Right that solves the mystery of the plastic strips lol! I will have another look for tool kit, think mine has been taken as a souvenir by previous owner!

Mine includes the key to the locking wheel nut. You might want to find that. First aid kit won't help unless you get really violent trying to remove a wheel!

I wouldn't get too excited about the tool kit ;-). Trading standards would have bmw for the phrase kit.

The plastic straps just inside the boot should be for the warning triangle - in a blue box - think most bmw share the same one.
The official bmw one isn't great, I'd actually put some proper useful tools there!

As above, basic tool kit, which includes the locking wheel nut & tow eye, strapped to the Battery Plus a Compressor in the ///M. Should also be a reflecting triangle directly bellow the boot catch. with Wind deflector above

Have a good look on the drivers side of the battery, when I first bought the z i looked along side the battery and the red pos lead was masking the tool role as that has a red trim.
