Thanks Bing - Yes, it's definitely black and we love the interior - can't imagine having any other option. The yellow stitching against the black alcantara is really cool IMO. As a consequence, the black exterior picked itself. Just put a picture showing with the alu pedals here http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=41616 - although just a quick snap with a camera phone so not really doing it justice.
Re the 20i - agree it is not fast - but could not justify the additional £4k when I knew there was likely to be a chipping option to get it up to 28i spec for a fraction of the cost. I have my fingers crossed, but not seen anything concrete or widely available yet...... And to be fair, the 20i is not a mondeo...... it drives better and makes better noises (even if it is not significantly faster).
