Z4 Stereo

Ive recently purchased my first Z4 and the previous owner upgraded the stereo (which is horrific!) from the factory model and Im keen to buy an original stereo to be used with the CD changer in between the seats. Ive searched the internet for one but I cant seem to track one down. Any ideas? What do people do with the factory ones when they upgrade? Cheers All

Have you looked at salvage vehicles for a headunit. There are 2 currently on eBay that might still have one in. A quick Google search brought up a couple more around the country.

I may stand corrected but I think you will need the "Business" headunit in order to operate the CD changer.
 
if I remember correctly,someone here had one for sale,don't remember who but have a look at buy/sell section.

I think you will only find the business one anyway, do an international ebay search including BMW X3 as they are the same unit although the X3 has chrome rings on the knobs.
 
i think chrome rings would look better personally, id swap my knobs to chrome if i had the option :roll:
 
Thanks for the advice guys - my searches had not go me far but the addition of "headunit" in my search has helped. Cheers :thumbsup:
