"Just some fun" It's always fun, until someone gets hurt or worse :o

Does anyone have any videos of the speedo doing a 0-100+??

Oooh, don't post vids like that on forums!! :o

The "Tut, tut" brigade will be out!! I learnt my lesson a while ago on other car forums!

I've got one of 0-160mph, but it's burned into my retinas and I can't download it.

For my previous car, a Volvo 960, on the swedespeed forums, you would get yelled at by anyone if you thought about posting any speed related stuff. It has its place, but besides, always put the disclaimer that you "found" it on the internet somewhere. :P

Maybe gonna get off topic, but to pose another question...

Assuming "private roads", track, or autobahn for all cases.

Whats the fastest you've had your Z and any other vehicle if faster?

133mph (on gps) and ~160mph on bike... stopped looking down, turn 1 was approaching.

On a private road following an Audi S4, 151mph before we had to start braking. (That was with the roof down too!)

on a private road in the zed i had 135-140, could have got it a little higher probably but i was coming up to my house.

n my bro's 3.0 twin turbo supra with extra toys we have been to 175, on the driveway ofcourse. a while later he found out we had done it with a massive split on the inside tyre wall :o

Here is one I did between an E46 330 and an E46 M3 a few years ago - on circuits that is, doing it on a public road is asking for trouble. Both cars are a little heavier than their Z4 equivalents with the same engines, but I think it nicely demonstrates how much more savage the M can be in terms of it's power delivery....though the 3.0, in some ways, sounds nicer!

Nice video Mike! Thanks for sharing :)

Edit: Just watched it again and lols on the 330's traction control flashing away :D

I had my M3 at 160mph with 1500rpm left in 6th, I slowed down after that because I didn't trust the tires any faster. In my foolish youth I rode backseat (pillion) on a Kawasaki 900 (the very first ones) at 143mph, the visor bent when I looked over the drivers shoulder to see the speedo. We may have been faster but I didn't look again...

300 KM/H (180 MPH) on the Autobahn from München to Stuttgart. It was a Mercedes AMG C-55 (i think) prototype before it was released, driven by the son of Dieter Zetsche. It was quick :] I'll post a link to the video once i get a chance. Will take it off again though, like most people mentioned in the forum, and we agree, it should be kept on the down low. Even though it was legal to do so.
