slo-mo drift :D

OK Aebous, thats the before, now show us the 'afters' !! Theres enough room for a figure of 8 there :driving:

Pah, I'm leaving the Z4 in my garage until the idiots on the road learn how to cope with a little bit of snow. Come on, it's hardly anything where I am!

I commuted as normal this morning: on my cyclocross bike (like a road bike with drop handlebars and big wheels, but with knobbly tyres like an MTB). Got some strange looks funnily enough :?

i wish i could be arsed to ride the 10 miles to work.

I had a big private and empty carpark to go to last night so i practiced a bit of sideways action :D hoping for the same tonight!!

Got 30 cm of snow here near Gatwick, but I walk to work :D

walk or ski?

iv already seen the first sledges go on sale at the garage this morning...can you fit a towbar to a zed :P

It was very amusing driving near Gatwick this morning.... only had the car a week and I am very quickly learning how to drive it! Sadly I don't work 20 metres from home but I do have a huge area outside the office for fun and games in the snow!

i have seen a few smashed cars on the way to work this morning, about 3.

i did try a little drift into my parking space :P

i think it should be video time for those who can find big areas and we can have a drift competition :D

Well I haven't had much fun this morning, shovelling snow asking people to help push my car so it will move and eventually abandoning it on a hill. It is stuck despit 4 people trying to push it and a shovel, I am covered in sweat after all the shovelling and really fed up.

Well i made it into work in record time today - but then got near work (Bracknell) and it took me double the time due to snow - by eck the Zed is twitchy - even in third!!!

It's amazing what the snow can do... I bet with a light covering Bracknell looks quite picturesque this morning!

I've taken a day off as my family are visiting... well now they're not. So, only reason for me to head out would be recreational! Currently obsessed with other cars skidding down the road... do I venture out for a December Photo Competition shoot and risk one of those dim-wits hitting me? :?

Brackers can NEVER look picturesque - unless its bulldozed, flattened and they rebullt the LOT! :fuelfire:

I work from home today. My boss could not even move his E90 from the driveway even with help.

I`m with ya on that, I don`t see the fun of snow unless you live and only have to commute in a totally flat area or have some snow tyres. ALl-season tyres are just treacherous in such conditions. WHere I am we only had a dusting of snow yet it didn`t stop some munter from knocking over a lampost this morning whle I drove past sideways but at least in control :)

I hit a long straight icy road this morning and had to drive so slow I was being overtaken by peasants in crappy cheap FWD trash :). What was more annoying was that one fool decided to tailgate real close instead of just overtaking me like the rest did - surely they must of realised I was driving slow for a reason, I even indicated to the left hoping they`d take the hint and overtake. Although in control I coudln`t go any faster as I was behind another car also struggling. That`s what concerns me more about icy/snowy conditions, it`s the OTHER fools on the road to be afraid of. Had I of spun the car I probably would have taken the fool behind me the nearest hedge also.

Actually that's all grass right there, My car is one of the first few spots on pavement. When I got released the people who lived on base had to stay (they make people leave at different times) and there were too many cars scattered about for me to really enjoy myself.

{url]www.qik.com/cajunmgster[/url] for a couple of vids around the house (and more coming up)

I work in the print so we have early starts, I was up a five this morning trying to get to Tonbridge. Must of had about an inch of snow in Sutton, Surrey but that was enough. Couldn't get the dame car on the road. I live in a flat which has a small incline, all I was doing was lighting up the rears in 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Had to wait till all the other residents went to work before I could get the Zd on the road. Once I was on the road all was alright. Did get held up on the A21 for about 1.5 hours but that was it.

I must of past about 30 abandoned cars on the A21, some in the ditch and some just left on the on the road, 50% of them must have been BMWs
