Well finally our carpark and the beeping has finished me off, rang a large salvage place that has a Z4 in. Sent photos and measurements of buckle and they have one.... £30 because its the whole assy! the bloke goes to get it and its been cut off mostlikely after the crash!
So i now have a replacement buckle for the grand total of ........ £5 + P+P!
Its a shame i cant plug my proper seat belt striaght in when i leave the car park but a quick swap is perfect for me.
The boxster forum have found with the right screw driver you can click the locking assembly so no spare buckle needed.
