Z4 sdrive xenon lights standard

Hi all,

I'm shortly looking to purchase a z4 and would like it to have xenons I was wondering if you can confirm if 2009 / 2010 sdrive models came with xenon lights as standard?

I have used the online vin decoder using 7 digit chassis number however it doesn't show the xenon lights. I'm aware the vin decoder doesn't show the full standard spec of the vehicle and mainly shows optional extras.

First link is to all brouchers and the 2nd to the BMW price list which also gives full standard spec and optional extras at the time your looking at.

I recently got a 2009 35i and I asked the same question and the answer is yes they are standard :)

Its very odd even when I called the spec check line they said it didn't show up with xenons.

It is a 3.0 Sdrive model that I am looking at not the 3.5 version.
 
As above all Z4's (E89) come with Xenons as standard be it the 23i, 30i, 35i, 35is or the later 18i, 20i and 28i :thumbsup:

Poor form from BMW to be fair on that information.
 
For some reason reason BMW dealers seem to have there wires crossed or do not really know what they are selling. When I bought my 2009 3.0 S drive I was also told no xenons but I can confirm they are fitted. Hope your viewing goes well the 3.0 is a great car.

It's not crossed wires it's just bad service. It's clearly stated in all BMWs litature. I know they have a lot of things to remember but is it so hard to have a broucher to hand be it paper or digital to get it right? Unfortunately there will always be things the salesman doesn't know about all the models. I usually find its either quite a big thing that they should know or something quite trivial to most.
