Z4 Scottish meet-ARGYLL (sunday)28th April 2013

What ? white stuff !! that won't be good for the Skyfall photoshoot - nor will rain mind . . .

Very odd forecasts temperatures around the route vary by 10 degrees !

Mountain hill forecast seems a bit more reliable showing hill snowshowers .

Sunshine streaming through windows this afternoon. Just had a quick topless hoon dropping off some drawings, thank goodness for heated seats temperature a bit parky.
Still hoping for topless sunday can openers where necessary.
Bond detour an option on the day.
I will now be away from the office so see you all sunday. Any problems use my mobile number. On reflection it is only problems concerning the hoon I intend to deal with!

Hope to see everyone at the next one/future meet soon :driving:

Really sorry I missed this today, ended up double booked. I did see JGP56 on my way back from Lochgilphead late this afternoon.

Great day out everyone! A big thanks to John for organising the meet and for giving us such a cracking route and great :driving: roads.

Pity the weather wasn't a bit better, but here's a few photos I took.

Coffee and petrol stop at the Green Welly, Crianlarrach

Glencoe

Lunch time, parked at the Creagan Inn, by the shores of Loch Creran, Appin

Glad you had a good day guys, my last hockey match until late August today so will hopefully make the next one :).

Thanks John a really special route - one that I will remember for a while - very special day out .

Thanks to everyone else for the company - great as ever

memories of the day

1. Coming over Rannoch Mor in the rain being followed by a 35is - very atmospheric
2. The Rapids under the Connel Bridge
3. The Fresh Mussels at the restaurant
4. the Rain on the Rest and be Thankfull
5. Following Swiftly and Al back to Stirling with the hood down.

And of course Skyfall Photos with Jax

So a pretty busy weekend back in Aberdeenshire tonight - any Zed weekend which includes Spittal of Glenshee, Rannoch Mor, Pass of Glencoe, the Bridge at Connel, The Rest and be Thankful , The Shores of Loch Lomand and the Cairn O' Mount on the way home is a pretty good day .

Now where is that Costa Coffee again :driving:

great to meet up at the weekend. Good fun, good company, and good food. Atmospheric scenery (rain, mist, glimpses of sun). More fun for me than normal on these roads buzzing around the countryside with others rather than onroute to work.
Will post some photos later when I get a chance. In the meantime thanks again and will keep eyes peeled for the next hoon.

jonnymitto, shame you missed the hoon. Did spot the Z4 near lochgilphead however thought is was a local lass who has the same model (needs can opener too).
I will need to keep a closer look out in future.
