No worries, we will make a final call for numbers a week before

Nice to see a few folks out today with a nice coastal run from Edinburgh through to North Berwick..

Nice day, lots of Grockles enjoying a Sunday potter so not fast lap times today.. :tumbleweed:

Judging by how PeeblesZ4 went off into the distance his re-mapped, re-suspended, re-braked car is going well! :driving: :driving: :driving:

Arnold brought his pal along with a 700 bhp SEAT Cupra that I had the displeasure of following, ear wax gone..check, carbon monoxide poisoning check! -:) :headbang:

Had to press the old mere 300bhp 20i into service pending Ohlins clunking being sorted.

It was great to be back in it (despite the appalling run flat Potenzas) :driving:

Great engine 300 BHP and 450nm, faster than a stock 35i, undoubtably the best handing version of the E89 family.

The Quaife LSD helped on the greasy roads (unlike the Potenzas)..couple of big and fast slides out of some roundabouts as the torque overwhelmed the Potenzas, thank God for DSC.. :tumbleweed:

That ZF 8HP box is just so so good. :driving:

B21, surprised that you allowed a non Z4 to go out on one of your runs!!!

Or were you getting some more ideas for more boost?

Looks like you had a nice day out and the old original yellow peril is going well. :driving:

Hi Ed,

I assume you are still zedding away down there?

Yes the Seat was a suprise, smell of unburnt fuel and meths was something else in slow traffic.

The backfires have convinced me I'm never going down that route.

Strangely he has no speeding fines.

This is despite Stu taking us past a speed camera on the A1 past 90mph..apparently its switched off.

So to answer your question, Stuart was leading so I didn't break my own rule.

I thought my car had developed a serious fault as I could hear random bangs, pops and snorts from the back of the car.... it was the SEAT sitting behind me on the road
