U Usernamechris Member Jul 16, 2024 #1 Hi. New to the forum. I have a 13 reg 2 litre Z4 and wondered if it is wise to change the Salmon relays in the boot. If so, does anyone know the part number and best place to obtain. Thanks.

U Usernamechris Member Jul 16, 2024 #3 Many thanks for the prompt reply. Parts should be okay from Sytner. How often should they be changed, or just as a precaution?

How often should they be changed, or just as a precaution? Click to expand... It’s generally suggested every 5 years..of course depends on usage , storage conditions etc etc .. Best to do it on purchase then as suggested..it’s unusual that they fail..but..when they do fail it can be really really bad..
