Z4 Round 2

So i have just purchased a 2004 E85 2.5i 38,000 miles which i wasn't even planning on owning but my father last monday announced he had just ordered a E89 S35i DCT and wondered if i was interested in buying his mint E85 from him.Well like i said i wasn't planning on buying another toy for a while as i had only 2weeks ago sold my last project a concourse Mk1 TT 3.2 quattro manual which someone made me an offer on i could not refuse and when he said i could take it off his hands for £3500 i knew i would be stupid not to .
So here it is, its practically in new condition as never been drivin in the winter only summer , the only thing non standard at the moment are the 19inch wheels and stubby which i have plans on adding to. Needs lowering first thing i think so ordered a Eibach lowering kit, then E86 3.0si brakes and de-gingering and front xenons very soon, hoping that it is going to turn out to be a decent little project car , never going to be the last word in performance but i still love the look of the E85 and its nice to be top down and rear wheel drive again. I used to own a 2003 3.0i from 2009 till 2011 so not new to Z4 ownership and looking forward to round 2.CAM00011_zps7c344a2a.jpg

Looks a lovely zed, a credit to your dad

Look forward to seeing how it looks once you start your mods

Your Dad did a good job of keeping that like new, or you've been very busy since taking ownership. Looks great. What detailing products have been used?

They both look great! What clay bar would you recommend? Paintwork looks flawless.

Auto Finesse is what i am currently using with there clay lube , quite good value on Amazon. Have you clayed before?

Thank you for the info.
I have not clayed yet, but definitely think it is required on my car. I plan to clay before the next polish / wax, still getting familiar with detailing, your pics give me more motivation!
