Z4 Roof Motor

Sadly the roof motor has packed up on my 2004 Z4. Can anyone recommend a garage in the South West London are that would do a good job and at a 'reasonable' cost?

Has anyone used GMG Motors in Sutton?

Hi peter, the job is really not that hard to do, if you are thinking of giving it a go yourself i would be happy to help by phone or mail. I have helped several members now and had my roof off at least 5 times, so if you are, i will Pm you my number.

Evom3z4, out of interest, how much do you want for your motor? mines ok but would like a spare, just in case.
 
Hi Thanks everyone for their help. Ross (Bowser134) replaced the motor yesterday and now the roof runs brilliantly! Just frustrating the BMW could have come up with such a stupid design! I am loving the car but the more I read about the Z4 it seems that so called BMW reliability doesn't apply to the Z4. My Fiat Coupe had no issues, with 100000 miles on the clock. Peter
