Z4 Roof Motor Replacement

Hi Bowser,

I have problem with my e89 z4 roof. It gets to the final stage when closing the roof and the bootlid won’t come down. There is fluid all over the boot. Is this something you can fix?

Hi Bowser,
Yet another failed roof motor on my 2003 Z4 so I'm desperate for help. I live in Suffolk and am happy to travel to Surrey whenever you're available.
I have a refurbished motor so would like it replaced and relocated to the boot so it doesn't corrode again. I'd be grateful for a quote and timescale for when you can fit me in.

another one on its way out on a 2003 Z4....Strange i can manually lower the roof easily with the red clip out. But cant close it manually as seems to stick ? Am i missing something? Would be great if you can send me your details bowser134 when you have time please. Many Thanks

The motor has suffered water ingress also but is still working and you can hear the motor going but it does not bring the roof down or up due to the leak. I have had someone from the forum look into the problem a while back and the leak seems to be from the drivers side. The hydraulic ram also looks like its a bit rusty from the quick inspection that was done so might also need replacing. Could you let me know if you could carry out such repairs including parts and also let me know a potential price.
