Z4 Roof Motor Replacement

Not identical in facelift as that had more insulation around it.

Mine has just gone. My five year old daughter said daddy can we have the roof down, bare in mind it's winter .i said no it's to cold but she wouldn't stop moaning lol. Pressed the the button and nothing :headbang:

Great offer :thumbsup: I've only just stumbled across this post, shame cos my roof needs fixing!

Forgive me if I've missed this on the thread, but do you also perform the modification of drilling larger holes to let the water out better? (or whatever the long-term 'fix' is)
 
Got mine done on Sunday.

Top job all done in about 3 hours, which is enough time for a coffee and a lovely pub lunch.
Very impressed and would highly recommend :thumbsup:

(and I drove down from Nottingham - 3hr each way)
 
thats a shitty motor....

bowser, next time you have one off can you look for a couple of sensors and take a pic for me. they are about 7mm cubed black and are somewhere on the frame/hinge around the motor housing. if you follow one of the sets of wires that is unplugged it will lead you to them.

Just to let everyone know that the January special has finished.

I can offer a replacement motor supplied and fitted for £600 :)
