Z4 Roof light flashing

The flashing returned the following day and remains. I don't think the microswitch is the issue.

The nearest forum members who can repair this are either myself (in Bristol) or Bowser134 ( near Hook, Hants) I think.
It is probably best to extract the motor and relocate it during the fix. Feel free to PM either of us if you want to arrange anything.
