Hi all,

Anybody looking to sell a manual 3.0si roadster in Montego Blue;

No heated seats from what i can see, that's a must for me to enjoy the car as much as possible.
I did enquire about this just prior to lockdown but the lack of heated seats deterred me persuing.
Appreciate the heads up though.

Yea i get that its a no-no having no heated seats on a roadster .
 
What’s your reason behind getting a low mileage example?
These cars if maintained do last well over 100k
 
I wouldn’t totally discount over 100k but would need to be sure it has been maintained very well. In no rush so happy to to wait for the right car at the right price.

Understand. Mine has done 120k and is still going strong but I have replaced a lot of the suspension and various other parts that are prone to fail.

Good luck with the search, good colour choice too.

Z4s do look great in Montego Blue, but perhaps I am biased seeing as my 2nd Coupe was that colour!

But you might struggle to find exactly what you are looking for. Based on this database that a forum member compiled it looks like the UK might have got 14 Montego Blue 3.0Si manual Roadsters with black seats:- http://perso.numericable.fr/tonyz4c/index30si.html

I wouldn't worry too much about the number of former owners as most Z4s seem to get moved on fairly often, probably because owners' circumstances change meaning they can't justify keeping a 2nd car that isn't exactly practical. My Montego Blue Coupe had 5 keepers before me, and my current MC had 7 before me!

And they are more than capable of higher mileages, my 330i with the same engine is on 113K and still drives really well. As did the 325i it replaced with the smaller version of the N52 engine even though it had done 139K when I sold it.
