Z4 Roadster and Coupe Doors

Hi all,

Can someone confirm if the doors are the same for the roadster and coupe version including all M cars? Part numbers and retailers online suggest that they are but I was wondering if anyone can confirm that?

Probably not a deal-breaker, but if you a source a door from a pre-facelift roadster, you'll probably want to take off the door cards and add the sound insulation that was added to post-2006 models. Otherwise it will sound like a one man band when you and your significant other get out of the car.

I would be using my door cards anyway so I will be taking it apart. My window is ok so I can swap that over. Do you think the lifters/mounts are still the same?
 
I would have thought so.

When you take the door card off you'll be presented with a foam panel held on with a butyl seal. The window is behind that, as is the factory sound deadening (or lack of). I also added sound deadening to the back of my door cards in addition to the stuff stuck on the metal skin and it makes a good difference to road noise, although I've lost a bit of engine sound.
