Z4 Rear emblem on boot

I have just noticed that my 2006 2.0 Z4 roadster that I've had for a couple of days hasn't got a "Z4" rear emblem on the boot is this normal?
 
It can be optioned without at purchase, or removed manually, so yes entirely normal. Leave it, or buy another and stick it on.

Thanks not entirely bothered about it. Was more concerned that the car may have been in an accident and one then not fitted again.
 
There's an option not to have the badges when built/delivered. My 2.0i Sport had //M badges fitted on delivery - caused comment when I bought it some time later!

I quite like the debadged look. Not too many Zeds about and folk who know nothing about cars don't have a clue what it is - they sometimes think its a real bit of exotica!
