Z4 Quad Exhaust?

Does anyone know if you can fit the 'M' rear bumper to the 3.0ltr coupe with exhaust system, or a custom made one. Or if it isn't possible due to the battery place ment. :?

it doesn't have to be the 'M' one but i do like the look of the quad exhaust. just wasn't sure if it was poss

I love the quad pipe look, but it becomes an expensive excersise when you add in the cost of a new rear ///M or special bumper cover and spraying it up.

Theres a website that does a new style rear bumper complete with the new style rounded bottom 2007+ lights which has the two exhaust style bottom edge. Just cant remember where i saw it, anyone?

Not a bad price actually, I saw that a while ago too but forgot about it.

I've seen this one two sent the company two emails now tho still no responce after 2 wks. anyone else delt with them? :?

I'd be very tempted to put a quad on mine but not sure I want to switch the rear lights over to the facelift ones.

Here's a photo I found of a quad system on a pre-facelift car. I also remember seeing some photos of the work being done to fit a simular system where the rear bumper was cut to allow the twin pipes to poke through. A patten was taken from the original hole and then cut out with a fine dremmil type saw.bmwz420.jpg

quads look ace

however the grey one above, the pipes look like they stick out a bit too much for my liking, but the carbon diffuser above it, looks ace

Actually, that's exactly what I would have liked. It would be perfect if it is 10-15mm shorter, just like the 599 Fiorano. But Eisenmann does not take custom order. :( There is a shorter version which is 50mm shorter, making it flush with the bumper, but I like it to stick out a bit.

Its not perfect, but I am still very happy with how it turned out. :D

Looks amazin, dont no weather to down the route of a diffuser or if i should just cut a hole the other side of the bumper. I like the 'm' bumper but could work out pricey like a diffuser prob is? wonder what the chance of getting a 'm' bumper from the breakers are?

I went through that process myself. I did a photoshop without the diffuser and looked at it for a while. But I finally decided to add the diffuser because it looks more aggresive. The diffuser cost US$711, but you don't need to buy a new bumper.

Hope this help, and good luck.
