Z4 Price Increase ?

Anyone heard about a hike in the Z4 prices in the last couple of weeks?

Online configurator is showing an increase on base M40i of around £1k (approx 2%). Not sure about other models.
 
Just had a look myself and there is a price increase.
Packs are the same price, but base price has gone up just over 1k.

Interesting - wonder if this is normally the time of year for increases, or if this is "Out of Cycle" because of exceptional inflationary pressures (Energy prices, transport, etc).

Price of mine is locked in so not worried from a personal perspective :rofl:
 
Might be regular price increase. This car will be touching 60k new with a few packs on it in a couple of years.

When is yours due?

Still no scheduled build date, my expectation is March/April though.
 
Looks like another £1k has recently been added to the list price of the M40i, now showing as £52,285 on configurator without any options - that's a £2k increase since I ordered mine in September (for significantly less car!).

Having just gone on the car config page, it’s obvious the price has gone up, but hardly any options are available. Limited tech pack is available on the m40i only. Vis pack is available on all models.
Comfort and driver assistance packs aren’t available at all.

What a mess.
I really hope all you guys who have cars arriving soon get when you ordered. Fingers crossed.

I’ve just ran the configuratior for my car and it seems everything is available that I have

Presumably you can reject the car if it doesn't turn up with the spec as ordered
 
Is there no small print that price increases are passed on? With Porsche, any price increase after order is still added before delivery.
 
Can they add to the price after you have agreed a cost for the vehicle and placed the order? Outrageous :x

If it's in the contract you signed, yes.

Think of your mobile contract monthly payment, most will rise during the contract.

Iirc this was said to us as our projected build was right at the end of a quarter. I think he also said I’d we’d taken finance and the deal changed with the new quarter it would increase too.

Neither happened but he did tell us at point of order. He also said the price was only likely to change at the start of the new calendar year but the finance may change quarterly, which it has.

Can’t see any others.

I’m seriously jet lagged so will try again tomorrow. ;)

It may vary from dealer to dealer I guess, but I’ve checked with mine and the price agreed originally is honoured irrespective of any BMW increases.

Ori - can you see a button called "Add More Extras" ? If you click on that it seems to open up more options.

Yup. The configurator has changed. Didn’t see that button.
My car is coming up as 56k now.
