Heya Guys and gals! (Sorry for the long absence, just been pretty busy and travelling a lot.)
Per the topic, all I can say is that since I got the Z4, women's attitudes toward me have totally transformed. It's amazing. Almost like I've suddenly grown a set of sixpack abs or something. No kidding. I've even conducted a few little experiments to see it at work, just for fun. On three separate occasions I've obseved women's whole attitude toward me switch from "not interested" to "interested" when they see the Z4. Their body language, eye contact, and eagerness to engage in conversation switched from "slightly aloof" to "flirty".
It's not all that hard to understand, really, so here's my analysis. I don't mean to sound like I'm degrading women in any by the following, but hey, women base their initial instinctive attraction to a guy on as superficial a basis as guys do for women. It''s only natural.
The Z says three things about a man...
First and most important, it says that he's a guy of some financial means. Is this an important criteria in what women find attractive? You bet it is. It's not the ONLY criteria, of course, but it's a BIG plus. If nothing else, it means that she won't have to support his sorry ass, and that she'll probably get to sample some of the finer things herself if she hangs with him. It means that the guy has his life under control and isn't a total loser like the last three guys she dated.
Second, a Z says that the man promises to be a lot of FUN to hang out with. It foretells roadtrips and adventures and bursts of adrenalin. I am not kidding when I say that the Z4 is a sensual experience, and not to put too fine a point on it, subconsciously projects that the owner is probably good in bed as well. The image of a guy who actively seeks out the thrill of twisty mountain roads for a good time probably has the same adventurous and exploratory attitude toward a woman's body. Do women like this? Hell YEAH they do.
Third, it shows that the man has taste and class. The Z is very distinctive in it's looks and not very common, so it projects an image of "something special" that doesn't come along every day. Couple that with the reliability and quality of the BMW brand, you end up with an interesting contrast between an image of reliability and daring: the TWO contradictory impulses that drive women's desires. A buddy of mine recently confessed that he's thinking of selling his Vette, and has been researching used Z4's. He said flat out that it's because the Vette has a certain "stigma" with the ladies and wanted to up his image.
This car's a freaking sex machine, no doubt about it.
