I don't think anyone was saying what you'd done was a representation of your work or skill level, we were taking the piss out of our own ability to do 'automotive design', which is evidently ... nada. I was going to mention i like your wheels, but now i'll mention your portfolio is of Yachts, and the bugatti logo? I would of assumed you'd use famous yacht design to inspire cars but what do i know - i'm a computer scientist, and i have no portfolio.

i don't mind criticism, i deal with a lot of it. just comes across differently when reading texts. lIKE THE PIC

Mate have some respect, go say that to your daughter. Act professional and speak to people in appropriate form. I stated once about my skills , I did not "go on about it". I honestly don't care if people are not keen , to me it sounded as if "some" where taking the piss out of my skill and proffesion rather than the concept.

So as far as your acting professional comment goes I'd say you really need to practice what you preach. I am a professional........when I'm working.......I'm not working........your not a customer...........I don't have a daughter.
Look mate, you posted up a photoshop and got some comments which you didn't like. Unfortunately that's what happens on a public forum.
As far as your taking the piss comment goes, you posted up an image which you described as a bit of fun. If you had posted it up as this is what I'm doing to my Z4 then you might have received some different comments/criticism.
I actually like the hardtop idea, in a clip on format for the roadster then I guess that would appeal to owners. Otherwise you might as well get the coupe.
