Z4 people stopped interesting after Z4UM ...

After the destroy of the Z4UM forum people with Z4 lost their interest about forums with Z4. Please try to advertise this forum and start have again the interest of our cars and continue our discussions with problems,mods,diy etc... Some months ago when a thread was appeared lot of people read and reply to the thread. Now this thing does not happen.

LETS HELP THIS FORUM TO GROW EARLIER !!! :thumbsup:
 
I think you may be underestimating the situation mate... This forum is just a few months old, and new members are coming along every day. Month on month we are growing, and over time I'm sure we will be bigger than Z4um was, but that is what it takes...time.

I appreciate the sentiment, but don't make it sound quite so bad. To put it into context, we have grown more in the first 6 months than z4um did in a year, and that's no easy task. We have a lot of people on here with a lot of knowledge... while you may find you dont get answers in 10 minutes you do tend to get answers, and the more content that gets developed the more the site will grow, with search engines spidering old content etc.

If you have any ideas for further promoting the site, please feel free to suggest or take the lead :thumbsup:

I think this is a great site for the Z4 and best I have come across. (so far...lol)

I was a co-founder and chair of the Jeep Adventure Club and it's site at http://www.j33p.org which a buddy of mine wrote himself and in a few short years has grown to the primary jeep site in the UK. Readers rides, links to other sites, Events, feeds, video of the day, commercial sponsorship - pretty much the lot for what is a niche group, not unlike Z's

Knowing how much people want to 'take' and how few 'give', If it helps I'd be happy to help the organisers in any way to develop the content of the site in ways that generate more interest, traffic and value
 
Thanks for the offer cj10jeeper, I appreciate it and will be sure to take you up on it. I have a few things in mind for the forum, but the last month or so have been hectic to say the least and I haven't had chance to implement half the things I would have liked. Nevertheless we are off to a great start and I'm sure we will find ways to make things even better going into 2008.
 
I don't post often, but I access this site at least twice a day. I read many posts and find them informative, helpful and often humorous.
I believe there are more people like me than those who have posted thousands of times.

:) :) :) The reason I don't post much is that I search before asking and usually find what I need (recent searches: squeaky windows, strut braces and run flat tyres)
I give this forum 7.6 bananas out of a possible 8. :D

I think we owe a lot to sp3ctre for his hard work with this forum! :)

You've really done a great job getting it where it is now in such a short time!!

My guess is that in one years time this will be beyond Z4um, but of course we can never do enough to spread the word to all Z4 fans out there!

This place is *definitely* busier than Z4um was before it died - Matt (Z4M phatic) used to singlehandedly have about 30% of the post count on Z4um every week. Wonder why he never came on here.
 
this website has helped me out no end. thanks sp3ctre for setting it up and thanks to all that have replied to my (sometimes stupid) questions.

i wasn't around for z4um so can't compare, but this place is a lot more lively than the e46 and kawasaki forums that i visit. it must be a zed thing 'cause the z3 forum i used to visit years ago was also very active.

I tried to match that a while ago,,,just can't live on this site all the time :lol: :poke:
