2003 2.5 OBD II port stopped working. Fuses tested and are good. scanner works on other vehicle. Help?

Do you have a fault you are trying to track down? What code reader is it? Has it ever worked on the Z4? Check for bent pins. Ignition tuned on?

Fowwell NT710, ignition on, The port was working and just stopped. car has not been started.
So the car doesn’t start? Try disconnecting the battery for ten minutes. Still no joy then it’s pointing towards an ECU fault perhaps.

Testing on the other BMW indicates it’s the Foxwell scanner. Hoping they can repair it.

update: Foxwell replaced the scanner. It works now.
