Depends what you buy mate - I miss the camaraderie of owning a zed, but the new motor more than makes up for it (and I sneak onto zed runs too so that I still get to see my forum mates )
Quite ex-members stick around.
But it's Ice Hockey season again, so must dash off to my winter sports forum!
This is my second Z, and after selling my first one I didn't use the forum much but after a while I put a post on to see if anyone had seen my car anywhere but all to no avail
I would love to know if it's been looked after.
The sale of my Zc was kind of enforced as it was a weekend luxury & i needed some of the cash i had tied up in it
It happened that i sold it to a guy who is on the forum & TBH that,s cool with me .
I stuck around as it is a great forum with decent posts ( for the most part :roll: ) & decent folks
I think it's great that people hang around - a testiment to the fun friendly culture here. Also have no problem people bringing non-z4's to meets too, always fun to see the competition!
I think it'a quite normal to stick around on forums. I still regularly visit e36coupe.com (now called bmwowner) because it was my daily haunt for about 5 years! I think 2 of my old E36s ended up on there in different hands, and last time I checked one still was. I think it's nice to see what people do, especially when they sort out the niggles you never got around to.
On the other hand, I can imagine that if you sold your car and then a week later saw it on a forum with Lexus lights and a carbon spoiler you would think differently
