Z4 OEM alarm retrofit?

My Z4 is unfortunately not fitted with an alarm, but I understand that a retrofit kit #65730302424 existed for a very reasonable price (€40!), however, this now seems to be discontinued. I tried two suppliers that both cancelled my order after first accepting it, stating it was now unavailable.

Has anyone recently installed this kit and found a current supplier, or is aftermarket the only way now?

Sorry to drag this one up again. Acquired an OEM alarm but the pre-wiring that was meant to be in place appears to be missing in mine. So, look harder or go aftermarket? How much is an aftermarket likely to be?

Go aftermarket, the OEM alarm is more trouble than it's worth. Have a search of the forum for all the alarm issues. Although in fairness most of them turn out to be the bonnet sensor
