Z4 non sport seats differences

Hello, I was wondering if someone could give me some advice on the following. I recently got a used e89 z4. Very nice car but I am finding that while the passanger seat backrest is flat and comfortable to me the driver's seat has more of a curve like in the lower back area that I find very uncomfortable. I will imagine the seats should be the same ? I have standard non sport non electrical seats in leather. Thanks for the info.
 
Are you sure that you don't have lumbar support? Post some photos..someone on here will tell you exactly what you need to know.
 
Hello, yes no lumbar support. Picture attached. Just basic seats but I had someone else sitting and confirm that although they look different the drivers has a curve on it. Maybe a previous owner modified the seat or if s something related with more use. Although with use I will expect it to be flatter. I guess your seats feel the same ?

There is no lumbar support in this car. No adjustment lever/button or anything like that. I checked in the car specs and the lumbar support was not an option.
 
Thanks, I think they are just standard seats since there is no knee adjustment etc. A bit confusing with msport seats and sport seats and standard seats. In any case I was just wondering if the standard seats should feel different between passanger and driver ? They feel different in my car so I am trying to understand why. Maybe someone with standard seats can let me know ? Thanks
 
so what exactly is the difference between sport seats and M sport seats? In the brochure they are just listed as sport seats
 
Are you sure it’s not just seat adjustment? i.e. the seat backs are at the same angles? Does the angle & height of the seat base adjust? It does on my standard Sport seats but mine are electric memory seats.
 
Ok , I think I should remove the back seat cover and check that it has not been modified. I have been searching the forum but I can only find instructions for the e85 and not e89. Anybody has a link or text for this, please ?
 
Regarding zed baron question I think standard seats and sport seats are the same and the msport seats add thigh support adjustment and additional bolsters for lateral support.
