Not defensive in the slightest..
You or anyone can drive whatever you want, doesnt bother me.
What didnt you like about the double clutch cars you have owned ?
. . . . what is there to argue about that?

I do! I really do!
If I had the choice of a new 135i with the 8 speed zf box or manual it would be the auto every time! I've driven both and the auto runs rings round the manual!

No no no....
The manual is much more engaging...The movement of your left leg, jostling the testes as you press the clutch pedal to change gear is the epitome of manliness.
You cant have full control unless you have a manual shift car,its impossible... Thats a fact... I have heard it said.

It was just odd as I seem to agree with z4m_2006 and think he just got the wrong end of the stick (pardon the pun) of my post![]()

MACK said:So to get back on topic, Andy I know you said the high points were the 35i and your red Z4M. But I'm curious, do you actually regret selling any of them or is it always onwards and upwards. Why the red M over the silver grey one you had? Is that just a colour thing or something else?
ronk said:What motivates you to change - just curiosity from somebody who seems to hang onto his cars for too long!
My previous 3.0 E89 was the shortest length of time I’ve had a car - three years. I only changed because the maths re the two cars I had added up and a new 35is made some sort of financial sense!
