Z4 No10 , , 35i manual / subtle mods + a few wheel changes

I have recently purchased a low mileage 65 plate 35is which is still on its factory Bridgestone run flats, front 225/35/19 and rears 255/30/19. I am not looking to replace the tyres with non run flats for a while as they have plenty of life left in them. What pressures would you therefore recommend for the run flats please.

You won't know how good your 35iS is until you put non-RFTs on it.

(The pressures for both are on the label on the door sill on the driver's side.)

I thought the label only referred to the runflats fitted as oe?

Ahhh don't be so sure its a torquey beast now & have to say i'm mightily impressed with the brakes :evil: no sense of loss from the ZM ones that ive noticed yet 8)

Initially i studied the whole E89 market & considered them all barring the 18i . , my issue with the 28i was simply pricing .
I can only think its partly rarity ( certainly few around ) & that sellers ( mainly dealers who are not enthusiasts ) actually think they have a car that sits between the 4cyl cars & the 6cyl cars :?
1 example i recall at a dealer 3 weeks ago . 11 plate Msport 37k , auto , no nav in DSB with light trim up at £15950k :? more alarming to me its now sold

Both capable of the same numbers with a tweak .
Unfortunately for sellers ( though not for buyers ) the market has sunk considerably the past 6-9 months & prices of all the 89s have fudged together .
At one point i was juggling 3 possible twin turbo models , this link to one that was for sale 6-8 weeks & i know for a fact £ 15200 would have driven it away :wink: dct , potential issues with adaptive ride & 2 split rear wheels ultimately put me off

I'm always thinking about changing to an e89 and trawl through Autotrader and Pistonheads daily.
It's a case of my head saying a 28i due to running costs and every other part of me thinking if you are going to do it, get one of the twin turbos or you'll regret it.
Thankfully not seen one that ticks all my boxes yet.

I'd be very carefull going 235 35 19 front ... I am on 225 35 19 and experiencing some rubbing when locking the steering wheel to the left ... it is minimal but still ...

Your fronts rub with standard sizes Ben? Don't get that on mine, have you checked your wheel arch liners are fitted properly?

Yea with 2 split rears & 1 of the 4 adaptive corners already replaced id have wanted to throw £2k into that car to make it "right" & thoughts of having over £17k in 7yr old 60k 35is with no nav made very queasy :sick2:
