Hi guys,

I've just picked up my Z4 today. Its a 2006 facelift 2.5si. So happy with it so far. Theres just a few things I would like to get for it. Could somebody recommend a good cover for the roof part i've seen a few on ebay and wondered which are best. also the car has the bmw business cd player, ive seen somewhere you can add an aux in using the cd changer connection? the car does not have the cd changer can this still be done?

To answer your question- yes you can still fit an aux cable even although you don't have the cd changer. When you pull the stereo out you'll find that the cd changer wiring is actually present. As far as I'm aware it's a case of pulling out the cd charger connector and swapping it for your new aux cable. Aux cables are around £10 on fleabag or £40-50 for BMW one.

Impressions so far are that it seems very solid, handling is great compared to other cars i've owned and the engine noise is great!
 
Thanks Guys, Ill hopefully get some more pics this weekend after a good clean! are there any decent sites online where I can buy spares, Im only looking for 3 of the front wheel arch inner fixings, are these the kind of things that are easier to get from the dealers?

ryangti, if you need dealer parts, ring Soper BMW on 01522 690000. They usually deliver free and give a discount to forum members.
Otherwise it all depends on the part you are after- try putting a post in the "Buy & Sell" section of the forum, as many members have spares hanging around.

Apparently quite a rare colour combo, Ruby Black with the Ivory seats and also a piano black dash panel (the parts that's usually aluminium). also averaging 30mpg which is not as bad as I thought!
 
Welcome along! Classy colour combo too. Any pics with the roof down showing piano black against the seats vs paintwork? That must look well.

Car looks great. Nice colour combination as well.
