DOES THE BMW Z4 N52 SI MOTOR HAVE AN AUTOMATIC CUT-OUT AS YOU APPROACH THE MAX REV LIMIT ?

No - you will just find that the revs will 'stutter' and hold you at the maximum.

Mine doesnt stutter, just hits the limiter pland and simple, meaning time to change up

Must point out I dont do it often, and try to always change up before I hit the limiter.

My wife hit the limiter in second gear.

The car went over the revs, lurched and the revs bounced back after hitting the ceiling..
