I'm with Paza regards the seller. Hard to put my finger on why, but just seems a bit sharp..everything word starting caps. Another car says with 2 keys and manuals and this does not say, so why?
Add 5 owners and all the BS about special editions and not a car I'd chase down.
Spend an extra 1k and get a dealer car with a warranty. Really, it's worth the piece of mind. Also, what does it say about the guy selling the car when the first lie is in the advert title? :?
I actually like and not a bad price. I personally don't like black wheels on a black car but that's just me. Worth a drive to see if you're serious, especially if there's wiggle room on price.
Seems ok to me. Although as said getting the title wrongs a bit naff!
Not sure what everyone's issue is with 5 owners personally.
But then I have never kept a car longer than a year myself.
And feel that anyone that owns these sort of cars obviously has the disposable income to pick and choose and swap their cars when they want
I picked up my 2007 ///M in February. It'd done 15k miles and had four previous owners. For many, this can be a weekend and sunny days type of car so it's not unusual. Already put 4k miles on and it's not missed a beat so far. I'm with Strell - no need for the number of owners to put you off - its how they treat it that matters.
See it's funny, I kinda of see that as a bad thing. I'd rather a car that has done 12000km/yr like mine, than one that's done 4800km/yr as someones weekender. I'd expect the former to have had a less stressful life. Of course that's no guarantee, but has been in the back of my mind when buying cars.
You were supposed to! The guy's a car dealer, I'm sure he knows that the wheels have just been painted black, and if he doesn't he should do some homework for the cars he sells. Either way, he's a con man or an idiot - I would avoid
