Z4 -might tick all the right boxes

I started looking for an old shape Z4 to replace my TT a year ago but found that while I could squeeze my 6'4" into a roadster I couln't fit into the coupe I preferred. So bought a 130msport in the interim. The current E89 35 though tick most of my boxes - 6 pot, turbo, metal roof and more. I've not tried one though - do people find them roomier than the previous model ? Is the roof as low as it looks and a problem on the inside ? I guess I'll have go find a dealer for a closer look but may well be looking for a 2009 model after that :) It would be my daily driver (20k miles per year) - comfy enough on 2 hour drives ?

Not sure where in the UK you are, but there are a couple of spectacularly good ones for sale on the forum if you have about £22-25K to spend.

Well, I'm only 5ft 11, so can't vouch for headroom. But it's proper comfy for driving all day in my opinion. So much so I'm doing a Euro road trip in September which will mean 3000 miles in about 12 days.

Mines available for £22k looking for a new home (sadly).

See signature for website.

As for room, a guy came today for a test drive and he must have been near 6ft, and didn't have the seat all the way back, my brother has been a passenger and he's 6ft and he didn't complain.

I've driven mine for some fairly long days out with fellow drop top drivers and find it really comfy. Seats adjust all sorts of ways height tilt etc.

The E89 has much better head room than the E85, and easier to get in and out of.
Ride comfort is also much improved over the previous model. I have the standard sDrive30i, and is perfect for long journeys.

I'm 6'3" and have no issues in a coupe. Getting out can sometimes be a faff but easy with window down.
