Z4 Maxton front splitter

Hey everyone.

Just wanted to know if the Maxton front splitter for Z4 E86 would also fit on the Z4 m coupe 06. I contacted the company and they were unable to provide a definitive answer.

If anyone can provide further details, it would be much appreciated.

Should be fine mate, I've seen people with these fitted, i personally have the pre facelifted splitter from Maxton on my facelifted bumper and it is all good so you shouldn't have any issues, may just sit a bit lower to the floor than the one i have.

Bad practice that MAXTON cant be asked to find technical things like this out for you...

Isn’t the OP asking if this splitter will fit an ///M bumper? Your link is to a thread about fitting it to an Si.

I would expect the splitter to abut the fangs of an ///M bumper and stand off the centre section by several centimetres.

Correct, apologies, that maxton one will not fit then. You will have to find an alternative company who sells one for the Z4M.

Hi. Yes! I was after a front spillter that fits on the BMW Z4m coupe. From a company preferably based in the UK or Europe as delivery from US is very difficult due to covid.

Again neither of the pictures in the eBay add show it fitted to a M, I know the words state M but

I saw this post. He said that he needed to bring it forward for mounting, but in the pictures, he seems to have brought it too far forward. If I'm not mistaken I think those outboard features should sit a little under the front of the bumper, not flush with them.

I agree, its now not lined up with the edges of the bumper, that would do my head in lol

I use MStyle a lot as it's my local M specialist, however I do find them expensive. for example to put on my bilstein b16 pss10 they quoted me £410 . ETA which is also M specialist in Kent. Which was a recommendation from this forum quoted £180.
