Z4 M Supercharger Upgrade

Hello everyone,
I am looking at upgrading to the ESS Stage 2 Supercharger and wondering has anyone done the same? My questions are....did you upgrade to Step Headers thru Exhaust and did you change the axle stength/ratio?
Thanks,
P

I don't like the styling changes, but holy cow, a supercharger that boosts engine output by more than 50%!? Jesus!
I want one of those supercharger!

I keep toying with the idea of one.

Stage 1 and spend the £1250 ish saved over stg2 getting a nice limited slip diff installed instead. Keep the long final drive imho, it's not THAT long until 5th/6th but with 300bhp+ they won't feel as long any more.
As much as power is nice, the big weak point will always be no limited slip diff...

That said I could get an Alpina and an lsd for similar overall spend, which is why I probably won't ever supercharge.

It says Z4M supercharger upgrade, so won't he already have a nice Limited Slip Diff. Plus he'll be talking about 500+bhp with the Stage 2 upgrade, he already has 300+.... ;)

Ahhhh, sorry...

Assumed this was for a 3.0i or something.

Yeah, on the M, well the world is your oyster for power up to about 550bhp it seems :D

I suppose it depends what you want to do with the car wrt axle ratio... if you are racing, run a shorter one like the Loaded team did with their Loaded M3 (ran a highly tuned ESS supercharged engine), but I guess for the road then the standard final drive makes lots of sense :)

Not sure on the headers at all. I guess up at these large power outputs the exhausts get restrictive, so there are lots of options on new manifolds. Way beyond what I have looked at but I do know the Loaded team did loads of testing with different exhausts. Some good clips of them running no silencers on YouTube :D
