Z4 M sport seats

Hi all
Just picked up my 2009 Z4 coupe. Black with red leather, looks and runs fantastic.
Just one question to all you wise Z4 owners.

Does the m sport seats have a "M" symbol on the headrest to donate the actual "m" seats. If not what is the difference between the standard seats in the "se" version compared to the "si"? As you can guess, mine do not have it, and I could have sworn they were supposed to. I didnt notice before buying, but I had a 2003 M3, and I am not sure I am just remembering that had it.

Cheers

Welcome to the forum.. get some pics soon...

M sport seats are one piece - ie no separate head restraint. I believe only the M cars have the ///M logo on them. My car has M sport seats but no logo... think that is the only difference between m sport seats in non m cars and m cars...

Thx for your replies guys. I guess it must be my memory playing tricks on me.
I will do some pics tomorrow. I always wanted a coupe since they came out, now I have one, it actually looks even better than I thought.
Fantastic in black!

Cheers

BTW, this car was an absolute steal from the credit crunched auto industry, in case there are people in UK looking for one.

Welcome, seats in ///M have different leather, softer but doesnt seem to wear as well from what I have heard.

Guessing at the price you paid it's a 2.5si.

also :worthless:

From what I understand - the coupe only came with the 3.0 engine; but could come with or without sports seats (i.e. se without as standard). The sports seats are I think identical to those from the Z4M - but without the M logo.

The M's have the embossed logo only on standard leather. The extended and individual leather options come without the embossing, confusingly!
