Z4 M so cheap in the U.K! Why?

It might be to do with the UK market don't seem to value a used BMW with any form of normal mileage. For some reason people in the UK perceive that a Porsche engine can do over 100k miles, but a BMW approaching that mileage is almost worthless.

Also, the car market here promotes buying brand new and you can't get a PCP scheme on a car of this age now. For the 'same' monthly payment you can get a new M4...

The reason behind us driving upon the correct side of the road is due to us years ago upon horse back

As being mostly right handed our swords would be on our left but pulled by right hand
So we would ride upon left to have sword hand to right against others :)

In boating we do the same POSH

I think the UK owners are pricing there Z4M's too low.

For buyers, a higher price should not put them off as it means they can sell for a higher price in the future etc.

The rarity of the Z4M together with the all time great engine in the S54,should mean that the cars could easily be sold for higher price. They should be equivalent to the price of a 997 Gen 1 911 in my opinion.

I won both a Z4MC and. 997.1 C2S and for me they should be about equal on price when all factors considered including rarity, reliability, engines, driving experience, future classic potential etc.

The fact that Z3M coupes are so high in value shows where the Z4M's will end up in my opinion even taking into account relative rarity etc.

So so true :( folks would rather throw money down the drain to run a characterless but new 1er that comes in "must have white " with that all important "must impress my neighbour new reg plate" than invest in something that has real heritage & pedigree
Leave em with it

Personally, I prefer driving a RHD vehicle as it allows me to joust the approaching enemy.

You mean back to the side it should be? :poke:

90% of the people are right handed, but you have to use your left hand for the precision shifting in the UK. You can see the need for so many automatics in the UK and why the manual Z4M is not so popular

We use our right hand to steer. I preveously though all Dutch drivers were drunk, now I get it, they are driving left handed.

..When the Dutch arrived in Indonesia in 1596, they brought along their habit of driving on the left. It wasn’t until Napoleon conquered the Netherlands that the Dutch started driving on the right. Most of their colonies, however, remained on the left as did Indonesia and Suriname...

So, you dutchies are only "righties" because the French told you to be...
