Hi boys and girls,

Wanting an s54 / Z4m exhaust manifold.

These are the same as the E46 M3 exhaust manifold for info

Based on Guildford but can collect from around Derby area too as I'm up there with work fairly regularly.

Cheers!

Ed

The Z4M headers are the same as late (2005 onwards) E46 M3s and M3 CSL.

The stock E46 M3 headers have a slightly thicker wall thickness and thus a bit heavier but are otherwise identical.

Thanks dude, willdo!

EDIT - I need to see how mine has cracked before knowing how I can repair it, but your repair looks proper smart! Don't suppose you've got the old ones kicking about still...?

Will get the car back from the garage tomorrow, and have a good ol look myself then. I can ping you some pics if you're interested :)

Cheers,

Hey Ed,

I do, but they're staying in my parts stash lol.

Ping over the pictures when you get it back, hopefully they'll be repairable.

Need to get under it tomorrow to try and get a better picture but I'm not so sure if that white-ish line just after the flange is a crack?

I've never seen any S54 headers crack at the head end bud.

Neither have I..! It would have got quite hot at the ring and at Donny but yeah seems pretty strange to me. I'd also imagine yours (and various others with charged cars) would get hotter than mine in basically stock form with a basic tune on it....

Will report back later once I've had the car at the garage for the flanges to be sorted!

Update: yep Martyn mine's cracked almost exactly where yours has. Exhaust shop currently removing the exhaust to slip it off and effect a repair. Hopefully they can weld it in situ - I'd like to avoid removing the manifold if at all possible!!

Update: Top work from Longlife Basingstoke, welded up the crack and now no lambda faults and the car definitely runs smoother!

Will continue to monitor the manifold - I'm not convinced there's a crack in cylinder 6 runner but will see with a few more heat cycles!
